Job summary

Kymera International is seeking an Electrical & Automation Technician to support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, fabricating control panels, and optimizing control systems. You will collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to diagnose and resolve electrical issues and contribute to continuous improvement that boosts production efficiency and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities include PLC/HMI/drive support, panel fabrication, and updating documentation.

Qualifications

Proficient in reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
2+ years building and wiring electrical panels or similar environments.
Familiar with lean/continuous improvement methods (Lean, Six Sigma).
Knowledge of machine safety standards (NFPA 70E, ISO 13849).

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control system issues with maintenance teams.
Provide PLC, HMI, and safety device support.
Update and maintain electrical/control documentation (schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC programs).
Fabricate and install custom electrical control panels from schematics.
Test panel functionality and troubleshoot before deployment.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and safety.
Assist engineers with automation upgrades and SOPs.
