Job summary

PFNonwovens Hazleton is seeking a Maintenance/Controls Technician to troubleshoot and maintain production controls components and systems. The role supports production reliability and safe operation within a high-demand manufacturing environment.

You will work with Operations, Process Engineering and Maintenance to modify systems, upgrade PLCs/HMIs, and ensure spare parts availability while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Training and off-hour support are expected.

Qualifications

High School Diploma with Associates Degree in electronics or equivalent experience.
1–3 years of industrial experience.
PC skills including controls programming software and basic email/word processing/spreadsheets.
Fundamental knowledge of electrical theory and operation.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and maintain control components and systems for production and utility equipment.
Modify control systems with operations, process engineering and maintenance.
Upgrade obsolete PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
Diagnose control system issues and identify root causes.
Provide off-hour support as needed.
Coordinate with parts department to ensure spares.
Share knowledge and train maintenance personnel.
