Qualifications

• High School Diploma with Associates Degree in electronics or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of industrial experience preferred.
• Fundamental knowledge of electrical theory and power systems.
• Familiar with NEC and NFPA-70E standards.
• Able to diagnose problems with meters and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain controls components and systems for production and utility equipment.
• Observe safety rules and correct hazards; coordinate with supervisors as needed.
• Modify control systems and install new equipment with suppliers when required.
• Upgrade obsolete PLCs, HMIs, and drive systems.
• Diagnose issues using electrical diagrams and test equipment; train staff as needed.
• Maintain clean work area and provide off-hour support when required.
