Job summary

King’s Hawaiian is seeking an experienced electrical/instrumentation technician to support and maintain automated processes in our bakery environment. You will diagnose problems, program and service PLC/PAC/HMI systems (Allen‑Bradley), update schematics in AutoCAD, install and test components, and ensure safe operation up to 480V.

This role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and an AA/AS degree. Join a family‑owned business with a strong history in the industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in processing, plant electrical, or instrumentation maintenance.
• AA/AS degree as stated or equivalent hands-on training.
• Strong knowledge of control systems, wiring practices, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain electrical and process controls in a bakery manufacturing environment.
• Address instrumentation, electrical, and process control issues and troubleshoot.
• Service requests and provide support to production and maintenance teams.
• Diagnose problems, determine root causes, and implement short- and long-term solutions.
• Install, commission, and test electrical and controls components; route cables and terminate wiring.
