Job summary

King's Hawaiian Bakery West, Inc is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support production by diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment, wiring and drives. You will read blueprints, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety procedures are followed in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, hands-on experience with industrial maintenance, and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training a plus.
• Experience in industrial maintenance and safety awareness is essential.
• Proficient with PC basics (MS Word/Excel) and data entry; CMMS experience a plus.
• 1 year minimum in industry maintenance with ability to read blueprints/electrical prints.
• Willing to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble calls, diagnose and repair equipment to running state.
• Receive work from supervisor and complete tasks timely and accurately.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on assigned machines.
• Dismantle/reassemble gear boxes, fans, conveyors, pumps, valves and related equipment.
• Read and understand blueprints for working systems.
• Promote safety and report accidents promptly; maintain documentation.
• Operate CAMS/SOMAX CMMS and follow SQF/food safety procedures.
• Ensure equipment aligns with Food Safety and Quality Plans.
• Keep team coordinated and contribute to continuous improvement.
