Job summary
ADP is seeking a Maintenance Controls Technician for 2nd shift in Owasso, OK. The role installs, troubleshoots, and maintains automated manufacturing controls and electrical systems essential to production.
Responsibilities include diagnosing PLC/HMI/drive issues, programming Allen-Bradley/Siemens PLCs, and supporting PMs while ensuring safety and food manufacturing compliance. Strong communication and teamwork are required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years in manufacturing maintenance or industrial controls.
- Food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
- Experience with RSLogix 500/5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View, and RSLinx.
- English communication skills required; Spanish helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Installs, maintains, and repairs automated equipment per safety guidelines.
- Diagnoses and repairs PLC, HMI, VFD, and instrumentation failures.
- Programs and troubleshoots Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.
- Performs online PLC troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Reads electrical schematics, ladder logic, and wiring diagrams.
- Supports PM activities and audits; maintains backups and documentation.
