Job summary

Procter & Gamble is hiring ICA technicians to join our Chicago-area fulfillment operations. You will work with electrical controls to enable production throughput, reduce downtime, and improve quality in a 12-hour shift pattern.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with a 2-year technical degree/certification in Industrial Electrical or equivalent experience.
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and machine control systems is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis for industrial electrical issues.
Ability to read electrical schematics and use troubleshooting tools for measurements.

Responsibilities

Operate warehouse automated equipment and processes to support production throughput.
Maintain and troubleshoot automation, process, and power & controls equipment.
Use electrical test equipment to diagnose electrical problems.
Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment.
Troubleshoot, monitor, and program PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
Troubleshoot and repair machine and process control equipment.
Analyze trends and data to gain insights and proactively identify issues.
Build technical skills in others and support continuous improvement projects.
