Job summary

Ball Aerospace is seeking a skilled electrical/electromechanical technician to support production goals on a 12-hour rotating shift. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining high-speed equipment, troubleshooting PLC logic, and updating wiring schematics and logs.

You will drive process improvements while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 3+ years of related experience, and preferably an Electro-Mechanical Technology

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of job-related experience minimum.
• Electro-Mechanical Technology degree preferred.
• Rockwell PLC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety practices and SOPs for area responsibilities.
• Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains high-speed industrial equipment and PLC logic.
• Identifies process inefficiencies and coordinates improvements.
• Diagnoses malfunctions using field measurements and PLC software; enhances line performance.
• Maintains documentation, wiring schematics, and change forms; participates in shift handovers.
• Determines supplies needed for each assignment.
• Works 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights; may require overtime/on-call.
• Complies with environmental regulations for hazardous wastes.
• Maintains professional relationships and handles stress to sustain productivity.
