Job summary

Procter & Gamble Lima Plant is seeking Electrical & Controls technicians to keep high-speed packing and utilities equipment running smoothly. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain automated systems on a rotating 12-hour shift with day/night schedules.

The role requires strong fault-finding abilities, knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, and robotics, plus a safety-conscious mindset and teamwork within production crews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent plus 2-year technical degree or cert in Industrial Electrical or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for industrial electrical issues.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, drives, robotics, and electrical safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot high-speed packing, process, and utilities equipment.
• Diagnose electrical problems using test equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems; monitor automation.
• Improve production throughput and reduce downtime through proactive analyses.
