Job summary
Champion Foods LLC in Michigan seeks a Controls Specialist Automation Technician to provide controls, programming, instrumentation, electrical and mechanical support for the manufacturing facility. Qualifications
- Six years of industrial maintenance experience or advanced education in automation controls.
- Must have strong programming skills with automation hardware and software.
- Must obtain the minimum assessment level for Maintenance Technician III.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility.
- Provide troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment including single- and three-phase systems.
- Write and revise maintenance SOPs and train production staff.
- Support process control and power distribution within the facility.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, servo controllers, HMIs, and VFD systems.
