Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills required for diagnosing and repairing systems.
• Demonstrated supervisor abilities and experience managing small projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve PLC and automation control systems safely.
• Train mill personnel and improve their skill levels.
• Engage with personnel to understand and meet mill needs.
• Manage and develop the electrical team.
• Respond to emergency situations with a proactive mindset.
• Identify and assist in implementing process improvements.

Skills

Familiar with Allen Bradley products

Experience with PLC 5 and Control Logix PLC platforms

Experience with communication network protocols

Proficient in computer and Microsoft Office

Experience working with high and low voltages

Good track record with troubleshooting skills
