Job summary
Baxter International is hiring an Engineering Technologist to support manufacturing operations, troubleshoot equipment, and drive improvements across automation and control systems.
The role focuses on electrical and mechanical systems, working with Process/Controls Engineers to implement reliable solutions and ensure regulatory compliance. A base salary is offered with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent with 1+ years in engineering tech or related role.
- Experience working in a Penicillin/Cephalosporin facility.
- Project management capability; coordinating technical tasks.
- Familiarity with TQM, Lean, or Six Sigma (preferred).
- Experience with CAD or 3D design tools (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot equipment and automation systems to improve reliability and performance.
- Diagnose and repair automation systems including PLCs, servos, robotics, HMIs and related components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems on automated and conventional manufacturing equipment.
- Manage medium to large technical projects ensuring on-time completion per engineering direction.
- Support project teams with process improvements and equipment upgrades.
