Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a highly skilled controls engineering professional to support automated manufacturing capabilities. You will lead problem solving, coordinate resources and validate fixes for tooling, equipment and conveyors, and program new installations of automation and robots.

You will read electrical prints, modify schematics in AutoCAD, and ensure network connectivity and data integrity across control systems, while supporting training and safety reviews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Controls Engineering experience (internship and coop experience considered).
• Familiar with PLC/CNC, VFD, Servo, Profinet, ABB and FANUC Robots.
• Solid ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics; capable of AutoCAD modifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead problem solving to support plants and teams in resolving tooling, equipment and conveyor performance issues.
• Coordinate resources to identify root cause and fixes; validate solutions.
• Program and maintain automation installations; update backups and software.
