Voltava is seeking an Engineering Controls Intern to support our Ft. Wayne facility.

This hands-on role provides exposure to manufacturing and controls engineering, automation, Lean, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement as you work with experienced engineers. You will assist with automation projects, develop technical documents, and help identify improvement opportunities that enhance safety, quality, and productivity while gaining practical, real-world experience in a global

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Engineering degree from an accredited college or university.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn from Manufacturing and Controls Engineers while supporting day-to-day engineering activities.
• Assist with automation, controls, tooling, Lean, and continuous improvement projects.
• Identify and implement improvement ideas that enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Support troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and improvements of automated and semi‑automated assembly equipment.
