Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an Automation and Controls Engineer for infrastructure and utility systems at Starbase, TX. You will design, install, commission, and maintain automation for critical power, HVAC, and fluids systems supporting Starship production and launch operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive improvements, and develop scalable automation across ground infrastructure while ensuring safety and high reliability in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
• 1+ years designing, analyzing, and working on automation and control systems (internship/school projects qualify).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and maintain automation and control systems for ground infrastructure and utility systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; lead projects; drive rapid improvements at Starbase.
• Develop and deploy standardized automation for power and utility systems.
• Mentor and lead engineers and technicians in automation projects.
• Proactively plan, prioritize, and execute weekly tasks to meet team objectives.
