Job summary

Jing-Jin Electric North America, LLC is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for our manufacturing facility. You will support, troubleshoot, modify, and improve automated systems, with hands-on work in Siemens TIA Portal, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks.

You will also integrate vision, RFID, and KUKA robotics into production lines. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of Siemens PLC/HMI experience, strong networking skills, and familiarity with Bosch Rexroth and MES systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical/Controls/Automation Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of Siemens TIA Portal/PLC programming experience.
Strong hands-on with Siemens S7-1200/S7-1500 PLCs.
Experience developing Siemens HMI/WinCC screens.
Ability to troubleshoot and modify automation systems.
Strong knowledge of Ethernet/PROFINET networking.
Experience with MES and production traceability systems.
Familiarity with RFID systems and industrial RFID applications.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, modify, and improve PLC-controlled automated equipment.
Develop and modify PLC programs per engineering standards.
Create and modify HMI screens, alarms, and operator controls.
Integrate new equipment and fixtures into automation systems.
Support fixtures, vision systems, RFID, and robot integrations.
Identify opportunities to improve machine reliability, cycle time, and productivity.
