Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled automation engineer to design and program PLC controls for existing and new equipment in our Nashville-area plant. The role includes programming robots, touching up control points, and collaborating to optimize line flow, cycle times, and quality.

The candidate will travel to sister plants as needed and help develop preventative maintenance plans, while mentoring technicians on controls-related skills and reading electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required (BSEE/BSME).
• 3–5 years of experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and robots.
• Experience with Siemens S7 programming is a plus and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, program, and design PLC controls for existing and new automation equipment.
• Program robots and touch-up points to support production needs.
• Travel to sister plants as needed to complete core job functions.
• Maintain schedules for multiple plant projects and tasks.
