Job summary

IMA Automation USA Inc. seeks an electrical automation professional for remote and on-site support of automation equipment and software. You will read schematics, troubleshoot circuits, and update drawings while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will diagnose PLC/HMI, vision systems, robotics, and control software; create wiring diagrams and BOMs; support installations and service calls; and travel 25–50% domestically and internationally in a cross-functional team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Fundamental understanding of RSLogix/Studio5000 or Siemens software.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD environments.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens PLCs and vision systems (Cognex/Keyence).
• Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, HMI, servos and robotics is a plus.
• Ability to travel 25–50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot AC & DC power/controls, PLC I/O, and motion controllers.
• Diagnose and debug software for PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, and robotics.
• Create/update wiring schematics, BOMs, and panel layouts.
• Identify and release spare parts for procurement.
• Support installations and customer service remotely or on-site.
• Travel to sites for commissioning and service calls.
