Job summary

Atlas Roofing Corporation is seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership for process controls across multiple plant locations. The role emphasizes designing and optimizing control loops, installing and maintaining automation projects, and ensuring safety and data-driven improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing, and 3+ years in automation, with strong PLC/SCADA

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on work in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years experience with automation, controls, and/or robotics.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and process improvement projects across multiple plant locations.
• Supports installation and maintenance of current and future automation projects with safety in mind.
• Subject matter expert in PLCs, AC/DC drives, servo motors and related devices.
• Collaborate with plant engineers, IT and operations to optimize control systems.
