Job summary

Atlas Roofing Corporation is seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership across multiple plant locations. You will lead automation projects, design system structures and automate processes to continuously improve OEE, while coordinating with plant engineers, IT and external contractors.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing and 3+ years in automation/robotics, with strong PLC knowledge and experience in SCADA platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience.
• At least 3 years in automation/controls/robotics.
• Travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and process improvement projects across plant locations.
• Install, maintain and support automation projects and safety practices.
• Design systems and robotic layouts to improve OEE.
• Oversee external contractors and data system integration.
• Travel to sites up to 50% for project implementations.
