Job summary

Potters Industries Inc. seeks an Automation & Controls Engineer to provide hands-on automation and controls engineering support across North American facilities.

You will serve as the primary technical resource for PLC, HMI, industrial networking, and control systems, supporting commissioning, troubleshooting, and capital projects. The role requires hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley CompactLogix/ControlLogix, Rockwell FactoryTalk View ME/SE, and PanelView terminals, plus strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field with relevant experience.
• Three plus years of hands-on experience commissioning, programming, modifying, and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley CompactLogix and ControlLogix.
• Three plus years using Rockwell FactoryTalk View Studio to develop ME/SE applications.
• Three plus years commissioning and troubleshooting PanelView systems.
• Three plus years of I/O, instrumentation, wiring, and electrical drawings experience.
• Three plus years leading automation troubleshooting and improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on automation and controls support across NA, including remote and on-site troubleshooting.
• Commission, program, modify, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
• Develop and troubleshoot Rockwell FactoryTalk View ME/SE applications.
• Configure and troubleshoot PanelView operator interfaces.
• Diagnose control system issues involving I/O, instrumentation, wiring, and networking.
• Lead automation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
