Job summary
Voltava is seeking a Robotics Engineer to maintain and enhance automation control systems across manufacturing operations. The role will involve troubleshooting PLCs (Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, Siemens Step 7), ladder logic, and HMI programming to improve equipment reliability and productivity.
The engineer will work with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to evaluate new automation technologies while ensuring safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Experience with industrial control systems programming and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley (Studio 5000) and Siemens Step 7 PLCs.
- Knowledge of C++, C#, and ladder logic programming.
- Ability to read electrical drawings/schematics and interpret industrial diagrams.
- Experience with HMI systems and performance optimization.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
