Amy’s Kitchen, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead engineering programs that advance manufacturing objectives. You will initiate and manage projects from conception through execution, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.

Responsibilities include PLC programming, control loop tuning, and developing detailed software designs across the plant. Collaboration with maintenance and other departments is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Controls or Systems Engineering; 15 years experience in lieu of degree considered.
• Minimum 5 years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Understanding of control theory.
• Proficient with AutoCAD for drawing and documentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with project scheduling required.

Responsibilities

• Recommend projects to Director of Engineering and conduct studies for process improvements.
• Evaluate new processing equipment and systems for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop project specifications; conduct pre-bid meetings, gather bids, and oversee installations.
• Coordinate all project activities between contractor and plant departments, enforcing company rules and OSHA regulations.
• Provide technical support to all plant departments and supervise/coordinate maintenance on projects.
• Design electrical panels; program PLCs (A/B SLC500, Logix 5000) and develop HMI screens.
• Build schedules using Microsoft Project and manage milestones and budgets.
