Job summary

Enbridge Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced engineer to sustain, modernize, and enhance PLC/RTU/SCADA/HMI systems across natural gas facilities. You will design and support control-network architectures, and lead modernization efforts.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial automation, strong PLC/SCADA knowledge, and the ability to mentor teams while ensuring regulatory compliance and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in industrial automation, controls, instrumentation, SCADA or OT systems.
• Experience with lifecycle management, modernization, and cybersecurity.
• Ability to lead technical projects and mentor colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering solutions for PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI, measurement and industrial networking.
• Lead lifecycle planning, modernization, and obsolescence mitigation for OT assets.
• Provide engineering leadership for capital projects, upgrades, migrations and commissioning.
• Create and maintain standards, specifications, architectures, design packages and testing docs.
• Evaluate performance, troubleshoot, and analyze cybersecurity risks; perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams; support regulatory and compliance initiatives.
