Job summary
Enbridge Inc. is seeking an Advisor Automation & Controls to design, develop, and troubleshoot automation and control systems across gas-processing facilities.
You will lead PLC, SCADA, HMI, and OT solutions while ensuring safety and compliance with NFPA 70 and intrinsically safe practices. In this role you will coordinate with field technicians, vendors, and engineers to deliver reliable instrumentation, control panels, and networking for critical natural gas infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 4 years of experience OR six+ years field operations experience.
- Experience designing and troubleshooting industrial control systems.
- Advanced proficiency with engineering software and computers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, build, commission, and troubleshoot automation and control systems including PLCs and gas measurement systems.
- Support plant-level OT systems including HMI, operator workstations, and industrial control networks.
- Support SCADA interfaces to automation and control systems and update PFDs, P&IDs, and control panel drawings.
- Apply NFPA 70 requirements and intrinsically safe wiring practices to electrical locations.
