Broan-NuTone LLC in Hartford seeks an Automation Controls Engineer Intern to support day-to-day operations, learn industrial automation, and contribute to projects.

The internship is designed for a student or early-career professional eager to learn, contribute to meaningful work, and develop practical skills in their field of study.

It offers mentorship from experienced professionals and exposure to tools, systems, and workplace expectations, with on-site collaboration and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Engineering degree; junior year or higher.
• Experience with electrical wiring or mechanical assembly.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Effective written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to learn internal systems and processes.

Responsabilités

• Perform engineering tasks applying standard techniques in industrial automation.
• Assist with projects with clear objectives and supervision.
• Coordinate with Operations teams and Segment to plan and complete projects.
• Support automation development including wiring, safety controls, robotics, and PLC programming.
• Maintain project status records and communicate progress.
• Prepare materials and documentation as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all work.
• Learn and use internal systems and tools.
