Job summary

Curia is hiring an Automation Controls Engineer II in Albuquerque, NM to maintain and optimize SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems across manufacturing and packaging operations. You’ll collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and validation teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years in automation, plus hands-on experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley or Siemens/Simatic platforms.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years in automation integration and production maintenance.
Experience with PLC/SCADA/HMI in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems in manufacturing and packaging.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, QA, and validation teams.
Support external contractors and drive system improvements and upgrades.
Prepare engineering documentation and change control records.
