Job summary

Marvin is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, program, and support automated equipment across manufacturing operations in Warroad, MN. You will partner with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to implement new systems, troubleshoot, and improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in a related field and 2+ years of experience designing or integrating automated equipment, with hands-on PLC/HMI, robotics, and drafting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Two+ years of experience designing, specifying, programming, integrating, or troubleshooting automated equipment and control systems.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, install, and test automated equipment and control systems.
• Develop modifications to improve safety, quality, reliability, efficiency, and production performance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls, and programming issues.
• Program and support PLCs, operator interfaces, robotics, control panels, software, graphics, and external interfaces.
• Create and maintain electrical prints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
