Job summary

GrayMatter is seeking an entry-level Control Systems Engineer I through the Launch Lab program. You will work with experienced engineers to learn how industrial systems are designed, programmed, tested, and supported while contributing to real customer projects.

You will gain hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial automation technologies, with opportunities to travel to project sites and relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering completed by start date.
• GPA of 2.8 or higher.
• Willingness to travel 50–100% and relocate.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Interest in automation and controls.

Responsibilities

• Support automation projects from development through startup.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
• Learn by doing with hands-on programming, commissioning, and automation technologies.
• Collaborate with teams and customers on projects.
