Job summary

Nammo Energetics Inc. (NEI) is establishing a new solid rocket motor manufacturing facility in Perry, Florida. We seek a hands-on engineering leader to design and develop equipment powering production from the ground up, with travel including Norway and a ground-floor growth path. You must be able to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical equipment design, manufacturing engineering, or automation systems.
• Experience designing production equipment, fixtures, tooling, or automated machinery.
• Strong 3D CAD design capability.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings and schematics.
• Experience managing projects from concept to implementation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve automated and semi-automated production equipment.
• Create mechanical and electromechanical fixtures, tooling, and machine systems.
• Support hydraulic and pneumatic system design and integration.
• Develop detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models.
• Manage projects from concept through installation and startup.
• Coordinate with machine vendors and fabrication partners.
• Assist in defining technical scopes and equipment specifications.
• Support equipment validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
