Job summary

Nammo Energetics in Perry, Florida is seeking a Process Engineer to design manufacturing processes and workflows for a new solid rocket motor facility. The role requires frequent travel to Raufoss, Norway for 1–3 week periods within the first 12–18 months and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S.

Citizenship). The incumbent will work with design, safety, quality and maintenance engineering groups to ensure efficiency and quality at each production stage while

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required with 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Visio)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read GD&T

Responsibilities

• Plan and design manufacturing processes and production workflows.
• Prepare plans, process specifications and procedures.
• Collaborate with tooling engineer to implement fixtures, tooling and equipment.
• Prepare labor and tooling/equipment estimates for proposals.
• Test and analyze new manufacturing methods, materials, processes or standards.
• Evaluate test and production data and provide process improvement recommendations.
• Coordinate with project engineering on DFx studies and drawings.
• Write complete work instructions.
• Support production activities.
