Job summary
M4 Control Systems in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an experienced Automation & Controls Engineer to join our growing team. You will support design, programming, testing, startup, and commissioning of automation projects for food and dairy clients.
Responsibilities include PLC and HMI development, electrical schematics, documentation, and collaboration with customers and project teams to deliver reliable control solutions on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2-5 years in industrial automation or controls engineering.
- Strong reading of electrical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks.
- Clear communication and ability to manage multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for projects.
- Develop and modify HMI applications for industrial systems.
- Prepare electrical and control system documentation and diagrams.
- Participate in planning, testing, startup, commissioning, and support.
- Collaborate with customers and project teams to deliver solutions.
- Configure and support industrial control networks and hardware.
- Troubleshoot issues onsite or remotely; maintain project docs.
