Job Title: Automation Controls Engineer

Location: Troy, MI (Direct Hire)

Salary will be based on experience

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on automation, control systems, or robotics.


• 5+ years of robot programming experience (FANUC, KUKA, ABB, etc.).


• 5+ years in automation system integration with sensors and actuators.


• Experience with simulation/offline programming tools.


• Proficiency in structured programming languages (C, C++, Beckhoff, etc.).


• Source code management experience.


• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.


• Willingness to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical architecture and control systems for automated sewing cells.


• Program and calibrate industrial robots for precision sewing applications.


• Integrate sensors, actuators, and surface scanning technologies.


• Use simulation/offline programming tools (e.g., Roboguide, Robotmaster).


• Develop BOMs, user manuals, and technical documentation.


• Assist with equipment builds, installations, and plant startups.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product implementation.
