Methods Machine Tools, Inc. in Sudbury, MA, is seeking an Applications/Automation Triage Specialist to provide remote troubleshooting and technical guidance for CNC machine tools, automation systems, and robotics.

You will diagnose issues with G-code/M-code, robot-to-machine communication, and machine integration, working with customers, service teams, and engineering to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2+ years experience with FANUC robotic systems.
Proficient with G-code and M-code programming.
Experience troubleshooting robot faults and production issues.
Ability to read CNC programs, schematics, and electrical drawings.
Excellent verbal communication for customer guidance.

Responsibilities

Provide phone-based technical support to customers using FANUC robots and peripherals.
Assist with automation programming issues, including robot-to-machine communication.
Interpret and troubleshoot CNC signals, I/O, and machine integration in robotic cells.
Provide guidance on G-code/M-code commands for automated machining.
Maintain strong knowledge of FANUC robots and software.
Document customer interactions and resolutions in CRM/ticketing systems.
Escalate complex issues to engineering or field service when needed.
Support customers with preventive maintenance recommendations.
