Job summary

Automation Movers International seeks a CNC Mechatronics Technician to troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain Mazak CNC machines and automated manufacturing equipment to maximize uptime and support production.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with Mazak, Fanuc and Mazatrol controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, servos, PLCs, and reading electrical schematics and blueprints; strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC maintenance or mechatronics experience.
• Hands-on experience maintaining Mazak CNC machines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, servo motors, VFDs, sensors, and drives.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Mitsubishi preferred).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair Mazak CNC machining centers, turning centers, and automation equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, servo, and spindle issues.
• Troubleshoot Mazatrol controls, Fanuc controls, servo drives, and motion control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Install, align, calibrate, and test CNC machine components.
• Support machine installations, startups, retrofits, and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime.
