Hadrian is seeking a Build Engineer to design and deploy automated manufacturing cells for new capabilities in Torrance, CA. This role translates design and customer requirements into executable factory processes and leads end-to-end build execution.

You will drive highly automated work cells, collaborate across engineering teams, and continually improve manufacturability, cost efficiency, and scalability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing environments, especially automation deployment.
• Ability to translate design intent into robust manufacturing solutions.
• Strong understanding of DFM and cost-focused production.
• Proven project leadership in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of first-generation manufacturing systems and automation tools from concept through deployment.
• Collaborate with design, production, supply chain, controls, software, and robotics teams to implement improvements.
• Provide early feedback on manufacturability and support iterative product development cycles.
• Apply DFM principles to ensure production ease, cost efficiency, and scalability.
• Own upgrades and autonomous system developments for high-reliability production.
• Analyze and troubleshoot equipment to optimize uptime and quality.
• Identify and deploy automation opportunities with ROI-focused evaluation.
