Job summary

Tri-Mation Industries seeks a Machine Builder to support the Assembly Department by assembling custom equipment from blueprints using hand tools. You will work with fluid power pneumatic and hydraulic actuators, valves, and controls, contributing to reliable systems.

As a team member, you will read electrical schematics, assist PLC commissioning, install and test components, and provide customer support. Travel up to 20% with some overnight stays; overtime may be required to meet project

Qualifications

• Mechanical assembly experience and ability to read a print.
• 3–5 years related experience.
• Ability to wire industrial electrical panels.
• Must have valid driver’s license and work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist PLC Programmer commissioning and testing of new machinery or equipment.
• Assemble automation equipment from simple machines to complete systems.
• Electrical and mechanical installation of automation components such as laser marking, vision systems, test equipment, VFDs.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Collaborate with Design and Controls departments on development and project execution.
• Read, interpret, and understand electrical schematics and drawings.
• Coordinate layout and design of electrical systems.
• Travel up to 20%; same day and overnight; may have occasional international travel.
• Install and service calls and work with install team.
