Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc in Newington, NH is seeking an Automation Assembly Technician II to mechanically and electrically assemble automated production equipment. You will build, wire electrical cabinets and panels, and assist with machine debug and runoffs, maintaining throughput.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent with 3–6 years of technical work experience, familiarity with reading blueprints, NFPA 79 standards, and a strong Mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling, wiring, and debugging automation machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret part specifications.
• Familiar with NFPA 79 Electrical Standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire and plumb automation equipment per drawings.
• Maintain machines, fixtures, and tooling.
• Assist with machine runoffs for new capital equipment.
• Assist with creation, implementation, and maintenance of process documentation.
• Work safely and follow 5S principles.
