Job summary
Sukup Manufacturing Co. is seeking an Application Engineer to provide pre- and post-sales support for Ramco product lines and related automation solutions.
The role includes presenting technologies, sizing installations, and assisting with product integration at customer sites. The ideal candidate has a BS degree in a technical field with 1–3 years of related experience and possesses knowledge of motion control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and related automation components.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a technical discipline with 1–3 years industry experience or equivalent.
- Experience identifying, sizing, selecting, and quoting motion control solutions.
- Valid driver's license and MVR as required.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support on assigned product lines.
- Assist sales with preparation of bills of materials and quotations for products, systems, and services.
- Assist with demo process (build, dispatch, maintain) for internal teams and customers.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Develop and conduct product training sessions.
- Attend vendor training to maintain knowledge of products.
- Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specs.
- Travel to customer sites.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
