Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Application Tester to join a high-performing team supporting IDAM/ICAM services. The role covers manual and automated testing of two web-based applications with large user populations and web services.

You'll work with developers, DBAs, engineers, and a Scrum Master to ensure comprehensive test coverage. The position anticipates a 40-hour work week with core hours 9 AM–3 PM, and requires strong knowledge of test automation, API testing, and Katalon.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 12+ years experience.
Automation testing experience with web and API testing.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing.
Execute automated regression suites and analyze results.
Collaborate with developers and QA peers to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities.
Contribute to test planning, case design, and documentation.
Perform manual testing as needed (functional/exploratory/regression).
Report and track defects to closure with development teams.
Stay updated with emerging test automation tools and techniques.
