Leidos is seeking an Application Tester to join a high-performing team supporting IDAM/ICAM services. The role covers manual and automated testing of two web-based applications with large user populations and web services.
You'll work with developers, DBAs, engineers, and a Scrum Master to ensure comprehensive test coverage. The position anticipates a 40-hour work week with core hours 9 AM–3 PM, and requires strong knowledge of test automation, API testing, and Katalon.
Leidos is seeking an Application Tester for a technical development program of 200+ FTE supporting the Sponsor’s Attribute/Entitlement Services within the IDAM/ICAM space. The Test Engineer will join an established, high-performing team supporting two web-based applications with extensive user interfaces serving a large end-user population, as well as organizations utilizing the applications web services. The ideal candidate will have testing experience, both in performing manual testing of web-based applications as well as testing automation experience. The candidate will work on a team comprised of developers, database administrators, systems engineers, security engineers, as well as program managers and a scrum master. The ideal candidate will be familiar with agile principles, specifically scrum. The candidate will be joining a team of two testers currently supporting the applications, and will be expected to master testing on both applications to ensure that the applications have sufficient test coverage.
The typical work week for the candidate is 40 hours (eight-hour days), with core hours being from 9 AM to 3 PM daily.
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 12+ years of experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree. Software professional experience in QA with a focus on automation. Strong knowledge of automation the framework/tool Katalon. Experience in API testing. Understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#). Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing. Experience with version control (Git).
