Marvin Composites is looking for skilled Automation & Controls Technicians to join our team in Fargo, ND, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our automation projects and maintenance operations. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on plant operations by optimizing automated equipment and ensuring smooth, efficient processes.

As an Automation& Controls Technician, you will engage in hands-on work, collaborating with cross-functional teams to tackle exciting challenges in automation and controls. You'll gain valuable experience programming PLCs, diagnosing and repairing equipment, installing custom equipment and contributing to technology upgrades. Highlights of your role

Build and maintain custom automated machines and equipment, including Programmable logic controllers (PLC)

• Diagnose, repair, and replace mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical component

Engineering Projects:

• Collaborate with project teams and suppliers during equipment builds, assist in system integration, and support projects during design and installation

Equipment Improvement Projects:

• Assess current equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make improvements to existing systems

Schedule/Pay:

Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts

$29-37 +per hour

Pay based on experience level

Compensation

$29-37 per hour

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• PLC programming experience or education preferred
• Two-year technical degree preferred, such as Mechatronics, Industrial technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree
• Excel at clear, effective communication with diverse teams and individuals, ensuring collaboration and understanding at every level
