Job summary

Lane Valente Industries is seeking an experienced Automatic Door Service Technician to join our Newark-area team. The role focuses on service of automatic doors, ADA operators, and related hardware.

AAADM certification is preferred, with strong mechanical aptitude and a track record of safe, efficient repairs. You will work on commercial door systems across multi-site facilities, adhering to company processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as automatic door installer or service technician.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for door systems and hardware.
• Must have a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work under time constraints.
• Positive, professional attitude with good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors.
• Service a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
• Utilize carpentry skills for partition framing and installation of doors/windows.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and handle commercial doors and hardware.
• Manage multiple projects and maintain professional conduct in fast-paced settings.
