Job summary

The role requires 2+ years' experience, carpentry skills, clean driving record, and a professional, team-oriented attitude. AAADM certification is a plus; candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an automatic door installer or service technician.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• Carpentry skills for partition framing using metal/wood studs and installing doors/windows.
• Experience with commercial doors, door hardware, storefront doors, door closers and emergency exit devices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Clean driving record required to operate company vehicles.
• Positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront, and various door types.
• Service a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
• Utilize carpentry skills for partition framing and door/window installation.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on commercial doors and hardware.
• Manage multiple projects and meet time constraints.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude in team or solo work.
• Ensure attention to detail and adherence to processes.
• Provide strong service orientation to customers.
