Job summary

Lane Valente Industries in Connecticut seeks an experienced Automatic Door Service Technician to service and repair ADA operators, manual and automatic doors, door closers, and related hardware. AAADM certification is preferred; candidates with carpentry skills and a proven ability to manage multiple projects will excel in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience as an automatic door installer or service technician.
AAADM certification preferred.
Proficiency with servicing various doors, equipment, and control devices.
Carpentry for partition framing and installation of doors/windows.
Experience with commercial/automatic doors, door hardware, storefront doors, door closers, and emergency exit devices.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and replacements of ADA operators, manual and swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow metal, storefront, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors.
Service a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.
Utilize carpentry skills for partition framing with metal/wood studs and installation of doors/windows.
Conduct preventative maintenance and handle commercial doors, hardware, storefront doors, and emergency exit devices.
Manage multiple projects and work well under time constraints.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a team environment or independently.
