Job summary

Allegion is hiring an Install Technician for Stanley Access Technologies in Maryland. The role involves installing or servicing automatic doors, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining accurate records. A $3,000 AAADM certification bonus is offered upon completion.

Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 75–100 lbs. The job requires flexibility to work nights and/or weekends and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Sitting while driving for extended periods and standing for long durations.
• Ability to work in varying climates.
• Flexible work schedule including nights and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation or service work as designated in a profitable and proper manner.
• Record productive time versus travel time.
• Perform preventive maintenance per the designated service program.
• Maintain all work records and parts used according to procedures.
• Keep updated on changes to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards.
• Keep manuals and details up to date as changes are advised.
• Maintain company vehicles and tools in proper condition.
• Present neat appearance and workmanship per policies.
• Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicle; log inventory.
• Test equipment before leaving job site; perform safety checks.
• Maintain good customer relations and service.
• Assist and instruct others in install/service methods.
