Job summary

Allegion's Stanley Access Technologies division in Maryland is hiring an Install Technician to perform installation and service of automatic doors. You will record time accurately, maintain equipment and inventory, and ensure safety checks while delivering excellent customer service.

AAADM Certification and construction or electrical experience are preferred; ability to lift 75–100 lbs and work flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install or service doors as designated in a profitable and proper manner.
• Record productive time versus travel time.
• Perform preventive maintenance per the service program.
• Maintain accurate work records and parts used.
• Stay updated on changes to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards.
• Keep manuals and details up to date.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and property.
• Present neat appearance and workmanship per company policies.
• Maintain inventory for service vehicle and log it.
• Test equipment before leaving site and perform safety checks.
• Maintain good customer relations and service.
• Assist and instruct others in install/service methods.
