Job summary

Allegion is seeking an Installing Technician for Stanley Access Technologies in Maryland to install and service automatic doors, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. You will document time, perform preventive maintenance, and stay current with equipment changes and ANSI156.10 updates.

A high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 75–100 lbs, and strong communication skills are required; AAADM Certification is preferred or achievable.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation or service work as designated in a profitable and proper manner.
• Record productive time versus travel time.
• Perform preventive maintenance per the service program for specific customers.
• Maintain all work records and parts used per procedure.
• Keep updated on changes to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards.
• Keep manuals and details up to date as changes are advised.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and other property.
• Present neat, professional appearance and workmanship.
• Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicle; log inventory.
• Test equipment before leaving job site; perform safety checks.
• Maintain good customer relations and customer service.
