Job summary

The position focuses on PLCs, robotics, sensors, and motor controls, with opportunities to create online and hybrid courses and to collaborate with industry partners. Evening/afternoon shift at Eden Prairie campus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in automated systems and mechatronics or related field.
• Four years of full-time paid work experience in automated systems/mechatronics.
• One year of this experience within the last five years.
• Teaching/learning competency in course construction, teaching methods, and learner outcome assessment.
• Education degree or equivalent coursework can waive requirements if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Teach Automation Robotics Engineering Technology courses (lecture and lab).
• Develop and update curricula, materials, and assessments.
• Assess learner outcomes and participate in college-wide assessment.
• Support student success with diverse instructional methods and resources.
• Develop on-campus, online, and hybrid courses.
• Contribute to department budgeting, scheduling, and textbook decisions.
• Participate in committees and professional development.
