Job summary

Coastal Sanitation of NC, LLC is seeking a dedicated Automated Side Loader (ASL) Driver to join our residential collection team. The role requires safe operation of Labrie ASLs, customer-focused service, and reliable daily performance on residential routes.

Candidates must have at least three years of ASL experience, a valid CDL A, and the ability to pass background, DOT, and drug screenings. This is a daytime, outdoor job with opportunities for advancement and development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years automated side-loader experience.
• Valid CDL A license and clean MVR.
• Ability to pass DOT background checks and drug screenings.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an automated side-loader to collect residential waste and recycling.
• Transport materials to designated landfills or facilities.
• Address improperly positioned containers and route conditions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required logs.
• Assist with manual collection when needed.
